高雄市立美術館2021重開館 開幕請柬／新年賀卡
After a seven-month renovation, the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts reopened in 2021, marking a new chapter in its 23-year history. The transformation aimed to create a more inclusive, contemporary, and welcoming art space.
A key highlight of the renovation was the redesign of Exhibition Rooms 104-105, now known as "The Light Space."As the first public art museum in Taiwan to incorporate a light film system, this innovative space has garnered multiple design awards. Beyond the exhibition halls, the museum’s upgrades extend to its architecture and outdoor landscape, reinforcing its bond with the people of Kaohsiung.
To celebrate the reopening, the 2021 New Year card was designed around the theme of "Light of Rebirth," symbolizing renewal and transformation. Breaking away from traditional New Year card aesthetics, the design features a series of minimalist color compositions and dynamic visual transitions—inviting the public to reimagine and reconnect with the museum’s new vision.
經歷為期 7 個月的整修時間，慶祝館齡23年的高美館重新轉型與2021重新開館，成為更多元開放、當代、友善與可親近性的專業美術館。在硬體改革上高美館完成最具指標性的 104-105 展覽室「光間」改造，為國內第一個使用光膜系統打造的公立美術館，接連獲得諸多空間獎項，從內部展間至外部建築、景觀⋯等一系列的友善空間改造，重新找回高雄市民與高美館的連結。
2021新年賀卡設計則依循光間為脈絡，連結重新開館的題材，提出「重生之光」為概念，翻轉傳統的賀年卡想像，藉由一系列簡約的色彩空間與視覺變化，找回民眾回到新美術館的期待與想像。
